The opposite to getting caught up in the fears of this world is not no fear, but rather worship God as holy.

An invitation to take 25 min to reorient your heart.

It’s worth it, though. Love. It’s worth the risk.

There is something calming, steadying about looking at something that does not shift and move.

I also know this to be true: love goes far beyond feeling.

I begin the journey of approaching what fears me with a little bit of wonder.

Do I truly know and believe that He delights in me?

I’d rather be bearing fruit than slowly drying on the inside.

If we choose to embrace it, we can learn more in the journey than in the destination.

I can see the storm approaching and I don’t know if my boat will withstand the waves or be sunk.

Let us walk in faith of what we know but don’t yet see, always in the middle until He returns.

He daily gives us exactly what we need to walk in faith through the middle.

When we plant our roots into of this world, we can find ourselves uprooted in the most painful of ways. 

Continuing to move forward means a vulnerability and potentially future disappointment.

How do we cling to our faith in these ‘pit-of-the-stomach’ lurches that take our breath away?

During a season that could only be described as emotionally messy, deep down there was reassurance that God was real.

She carried with her, through the middle of the abuse, a distant hope that one day, God would get her out.

She chose to trust God. And threw herself into something that she could choose. And that was her relationship with God.

We are leaving this year with memories and grateful hearts.
